Here I give a brief discription of the clothing worn in the Dragonball Z episodes. There may be more, but here are the important ones.
The Saiyan Armor
This is the armor that is worn by all saiyans (except Goku) and
also by Freeza, the Ginyu Force, and all of Freeza's henchmen.
It can expand to any size being useful when saiyan's turn
oozaru. It is also very strong so it can protect people from
some attacks. They also came out with a new armor that was
more like a vest and was easier to move around in.
Piccolo's outfit
Piccolo's outfit is made up of a white turban, a white cape, and
purple clothing. This outfit is weighted and helps him increase
his strength in his training. Gohan also likes Piccolo and he
made himself an outfit that looked exactly like Piccolo's.
Goku's outfit
Goku's figthing outfit, or at least the red fighting outfit he wears
is called a Gi. And the trainers sign on the back and the small one
on the front is called the Kenji. It is basically a blue vest underneath
with a red karate type clothing over it. He wears special shoes too and
most of it is weighted clothing. Similar outfits are worn by Krillin, Gohan(after Piccolo's training),
and Goten.
Trunks' outfit
Trunks' out fit is made up of grey pants and a shirt, with a blue capsule corp jacket. And he carries around his sword.
Fusion Outfit
This outfit is worn by Gotenks and Gojita. It is composed of white pants, shoes, and a cool looking black vest with orange around the arm holes. This outfit is only worn by Gotenks and Gojita, Vegetto has a different suit.
