- 8-27-02: Ship Editor (ShipEdit.zip). Allows you to draw and edit starship images. A sample ship is included. To open it, you can drag SAMPLE.DAT with the mouse and drop it on SHIPEDIT.EXE. Or you can just run SHIPEDIT.EXE, highlight "NEW FILE" and press enter, then type SAMPLE and press enter. The program opens and saves files in its working folder, which should be the same folder the program is in. To change the working folder, open SHIPEDIT.EXE's Properties window and click the Program tab.
- 1-14-02: Demo Program (Sfau.exe). A dated sample program. Move the arrow over a door and press the up arrow key to enter (not all of them have anything in them). Docking Bay takes you to the ship, where you can fly around the star system. The only thing that works on the ship is Maneuver under the Navigator's control menu. You should turn off Num Lock to use the diagonal keys.
You can press Esc to exit the program. In the unlikely event that it freezes, if you're using Windows, press Alt+Enter and click the X button to close the window.
- 9-28-01: Old Test Graphics (starmap.exe). One of the first .exe's from way back when the project just started. It has an exact replica of the bridge interface from Starflight I & II, and generates a random starmap.
