On Saturday, June 23, 2001, there was a gathering of friends.
Having Rose at the housewarming was a special treat. We have been close friends since our college days in Chicago. Over the decades we have only grown closer and closer, and having her at the housewarming, and my first houseguest in my new home, was truly icing on the cake. Hmmm, come to think of it there was no cake.

Yes, a great time was had by all.
Everyone seemed quite comfortable. The House Warming was a
success, and the weather cooperated by providing my guest with a great view,
from the living room patio, of the Organ Mountains
