My dream house is now mine. Well, the bank and me. What was missing was the warmth that comes when friends gather at your home. I have been blessed with this house, and because everything about me is in Devine Order, I am further blessed with some very special people that I call friends.
So, on Saturday, June 23, 2001, there was a gathering of friends.
Anytime you give a party there is always that concern that everybody will have a pleasant time together. I think it is safe to say that from that perspective the party was a success.
Animated Conversation
I met Joe and Joan when I was a teenage bride visiting with my husband who was then in the Army stationed in Texas. Joe was his sergeant. Both Joe and Joan are now retired military residing in El Paso, Texas. Having them at the house warming truly warmed both my walls, and my heart.
Judy is an artist from Chaparral, New Mexico. She is having a website constructed soon that will display her work. She paints great portraits of horses. Judy is a former horse owner and equestrian. Another talent she is blessed with are specially designed neckties. When her website is launched you will see that she had made ties for many of movieland's western theme actors. Judy is a pleasure to be around, and I'm glad to be able to count her as one of my new friends.
Lottie is also a new friend, and a great person to have at a party. Believe it or not, Lottie is a Republican: with a sense of humor. She endured a lot of teasing, but it was all in good fun, and she and her husband, Bob, added to the success of my housewarming.
