Meetings / Guest Speakers / SocialsThe New Orleans Concierge Association conducts its Directors Meeting on the last Tuesday of each month. The location of the meeting is open to invitation by area hotels and restaurants and may include dinner or a small reception. The meeting is attended by the current N.O.C.A. officers, board of advisors and is open to all members. The order of business is usually begun with short presentations by guest speakers, the reviewing and voting of new membership applications, the reviewing of the next months social calendar and all current agenda. Area vendors, merchants, tour operators, etc., are encouraged to contact the association to schedule representatives as guest speakers at the monthly meeting. It is a great opportunity for businesses to create awareness, distribute information and offer their services to hotel guests through the concierges. Guest speakers are required to contribute $25.00 to the N.O.C.A. Scholarship Fund. Many local businesses, restaurants and entertainment venues approach the association with gracious invitations to host socials. This is a fun and effective way for businesses to demonstrate their services to the concierges which in turn helps the concierges to better fulfill the visitors requests. Please contact our Social Director to schedule any of these events.
