hellooooo
So much for writing in this thing every day... I blame it on class. But now that's over and hopefully I'll remember to post more often.

Let's review my week, shall we?

Sunday: I discovered I had a crack in my windshield while still in PA. Had to extend my stay another night so I could have my windshield replaced.
Cost: $0

Monday: Windshield not replaced until 1:30. Guess I won't be making it to work today (-$105). At least insurance covered the bulk of the windshield replacement. Cost for me: $50. Realize I need to go to the car dealership to get new inspection stickers. Talk to Mom. She advises me to get new windshield wipers. Cost at dealership: $45. Finish up and drive back to Maryland. When can I move back to PA???

Tuesday: Class. Total commute time: 2.75 hours. Total class time: 2.5 hours. (70 miles)

Wednesday: More class. It's memoir writing. I didn't realize how totally uninteresting my life was until this class. :) (70 miles)

Thursday: Last day of class. (In Homer Simpson voice) Woo hoo! (70 miles) On drive home from class, while on the phone with Sharon, man in SUV cuts me off. Piece of something kicks up from the ground and hits.. you guessed it.. my windshield. Looks badly scratched. Very pissed. Sharon tries valiantly to distract me. Buy Brownie Batter ice cream as consolation. Good news: windshield does not appear to be scratched. Cost of ice cream: $3.

Friday: Work. Yay. One of four people left in the entire building. Can we say waste of time and money? VP says we can leave at 3:30. At least there's some good news. Going to Vicky's Secret where I will probably spend more money that I don't have. Cost: TBD.

Until later!

Wow.. this is exciting, sort of..
This is my first blog entry. I feel like somewhere something amazing should be happening like angels singing the Halleluja chorus or people running up and down the hall screaming "It's about time! I've been waiting forever just to hear every random thought that comes out of Laura's head!" Instead, I'm still sitting at work pondering the length of that last sentence. My editing class has destroyed the english language for me.

I'll be including a quote in each of my blog entries because I love quotes and there are only so many away messages one person can have.

I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to put in here, so I'm going to stop for now.

Quote of the Blog
Myles: It seems Agent Sparky was attempting to bench press a considerable amount of weight. How much was it again, Bobby?
Bobby: I?m not sure, but 300 seems to ring a bell.
Tara: Ring a bell! Now that...
Bobby clamps his hand over her mouth.
Sue: 300 pounds? That seems like a lot.
Bobby: There?s a reason they call them dumbbells...
