Hudson River, from Troy Dam at Albany, NY to Manhatten, New York City

Check out this monster striper caught on one of the best striped bass fisheries in the east. From Troy Dam near Albany to New York City, the stripers spawn each spring and can be caught from mid-March through May as they migrate up-stream and then back again along this Atlantic tributary. Tapanzee Bridge, Croton Point, Hyde Park, Kingston and Troy Dam are all good spots to fish.
