A small
shout-out to Afeni shakur...The woman responsible for bringing Tupac to
us. Formerly a member of the Black Pathers Party, Afeni Shakur, who was
Born Alice Faye Williams, was pregnant with Tupac whilst incarcerated for
conspiracy to bomb. She was later aqucuitted of these charges shortly
before Tupac's birth. Shortly after Tupac's death, she sued Death
Row Records for the ownership of hundreds of Tupac songs, which are used
on his post-death albums. Afeni keeps Tupac's legacy alive today by
overlooking music productions on past and upcoming albums, by managing
Amaru records.
