What does it take to become the Official NDAMIXX Gaming System? Well, what if you could buy a DVD player and get a free state of the art gaming system as a bonus? If you've gotten your hands on a PS2 then that's exactly what you've done. Think about it. DVD players cost $200 plus and can only play DVDs and some CDs. However with a PS2 you get a DVD player, a backwards compatible Playstation gaming console which mean you can play most of your old PS games and as usual a CD player. Enuff said.
 However that doesn't mean dat the PS2 is untouchable. It lacks a modem so online play is out for now. Look for the next generation playstation to have broadband access via cable or DSL. Then there's the ongoing cost. Add One base unit, an extra controller or two, a memory card, and other must have peripherals (not to mention the $50 bucks each game will set you back) and in the end you'll be spending a few more Franklins. I did say you were buying a DVD player and getting a bonus state of the art gaming unit for free, didn't I? There's also a saying dat goes nuttin' in life comes free or something to the effect. Even a basic DVD player comes equipped with a RC (remote control). It'll cost you to have RC over your nu PS2. So I expect to see most of my homies with CC (controller control) since it is the basic interface between da player and da machine anyway, but for y'all wit da doh: HERE'S A LIST OF PS2 PERIPHERALS Or you can peep out the current list of available titles.
