Da game is: ![]() As the title implies you're playing the role of a smuggler with only one premise: Deliver the goods and get rich, or fail and get arrested. As a new member of a gang of rugged individualists known as “The Forgotten,” you must prove yourself to your teammates and potential clients. Success brings more prestigious missions with richer rewards. But many things stand in your way-starting with the rugged terrain itself. To complicate matters, rival gangs of smugglers will try to steal your contraband, and law enforcement will to bust you. It all comes down to your driving skill and smarts… The game has three modes: Mission, Melee, and Joyride. Mission Mode is the core single game player with over 30 missions. In each, you try to accomplish specific objectives and make as much money as possible: 1. The exact objective varies from mission to mission, but most frequently involves delivering the most contraband (undamaged) in the shortest time, while avoiding arrest. 2. Overcome increasing challenges to progress through the missions linearly and reach higher levels. BR> Each mission has a characteristic type of contraband, such as nuclear material, counterfeit money, and explosives. The value of this contraband increases in more advanced missions. Melee Mode is available for 1 or 2 players, Melee Mode lets you set up custom scenarios, such as racing to set checkpoints or joining forces with a friend against a gang of AI-controlled rival smugglers Joyride Mode gives 1-2 players the chance to explore the levels without time limits or competitive pressures. That was the official stuff now on 2 da real deal: The one reason why this game is so phat is dat da PO-Po stays on your azz. We ain't talking one or two. We talking like five or six ov'em onna a kill or be killed mission. While not quite a hoopty, you ride ain't da best of ov'em and takes only so much damage from giant trees, rocks, or tumbles. Or, when five-0 and da gold diggers (Rival Smugglers) are ramming ya azz. Through three different Terrains, Snow, Forrest, and Desert you hit corners at 100+ MPH while doing two-wheeled power slides through small villages and towns, not to mention smashing through border patrols and pissing off a few road blocks. In short Smuggler's Run is quite nice with Graphics: better than most Sound: annoying than most Music: just tolerable and if you got My Skillz about six hours of total run time, but many more hours just having fun with it. Although the PS2 is still in its U.S. infancy, Smuggler's Run is one of the games I play each time I turn on my PS2. I guess it's the Rude Boy in me that loves the premise of being a smuggler. 4 y'all wit mo' doh than I got: HERE'S A LIST OF PS2 PERIPHERALS Or you can peep out the current list of available titles.
