Ęsop's Fables

"The Weasel and the Man"
A man
once caught a weasel who was always sneaking around his property. The man placed
the weasel in a bag and was about to drown him in a tub of water when the weasel
spoke out.
"Wait you couldn't possibly want to
kill me so quickly. After all, I've done so many good deeds for you.
I've killed countless snakes, and mice which otherwise would surely have
infested your home."
"This is all true," the man
replied, "but while we are recounting all your deeds don't forget to tell
how many of my chickens and ducks you have done away with. Also, I cannot
begin to count the eggs you have taken away from me, or the amount of meat you
have stole. No, my friend you do far more harm than good I'm afraid."

"The
good you do should always outweigh the bad."
