Gravity- planets, stars, anything, exert a gravity equivalent to its mass, even human do but the gravity is so tiny it’s neglected. It is also why moon’s gravity is 6 times weaker than earth, its size if roughly 6 times smaller. It also depends on the object’s density. Example- if earth was compressed, but with the same mass, its gravity will get stronger.

Differences between mass and weight- weight depends on where an object is, e.g. if you are on moon, your weight would be 6 times weaker, as the moon’s gravity is 6 times weaker than earth. However, mass doesn’t change regardless of gravity. Picture Objects shrink when it gets cold and expands when it’s hot. Stars do the same.
