GOVS retain bragging rights

McKinley 25, Farrington 37: With a pack stadium at Roosevelt, Waylon Philpot completed 11 of 19 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns as Farrington won the OIA Red Division game last night.  Kenneth Gasilos caught six passes for 140 yards and a touchdown for Farrington.  McKinley's QB Abraham Pavich completed 20 of 38 passes for 354 yards.  Rene Melson caught seven passes for 164 yards.  Governors retain the bragging rights for the Honolulu District once again.  The last time the Tigers beat The Govs was back in 1996 in an over-time playoff game at Aloha Stadium.  The GOVS came out on fire scoring on their first possession on their very first offensive play.   Mistakes and Penalties put the game out of reach for the Tigers.  With 4 games left in the season, the play-off hopes are looking slimer.

Edsley Hicks makes an amazing catch.  Even though it did not count, it was a brilliant catch.
