McKinley 26, Campbell 20: At Roosevelt, The Struggling Tigers (1-4) met the Sabers (0-5). QB Abraham Pavich passed for 147 yards. Pavich connected with Melson for a 32 yard TD. Campbell answered back with a 62 yard bomb from Vincent Lemau to Eddie Powers to tie the game. The Sabers Ronnie William's then intercepted a misread stop and go pattern from Pavich to Melson and took it 45 yards for the score. The Sabers led 13-6 at the half. In the third quarter, Voltaire Gansit recovered a Saber fumble in the endzone to tie the score. Va'a Fonoti had a big run of 28 yards to set up the Tigers final score with a 1 yard run by Tupu Manumaleuna. The Tigers and the Trojans of Mililani are battling over the 5th slot in the play-offs. The real test will come next week when the Tigers face the Seariders of Waianae. This will be the Tigers homecoming game!
