Cradle 2 the Grave and
Hero's Jet Li, will be back on screen
probably the end of the year in the Action/Drama - Danny the Dog also
starring Morgan Freeman and the BBC version of Othello's Bob Hoskins.
Doesn't this picture look artistic? Well he looks angry to me! :P
Daily Gossips from Webmaster:
Well, today was weird, a tiring morning for a
Sunday, after driving - I was so tired and bored, I wanted want something funny,
then I remember I got a DVD for $10 the other day, so I popped it in and sat on
the sofa. Guess what movie I put in - well, you will never guess ga la! Cos, it
is a 1987 HK movie - Thirty Million Dollars
Rush starring comedy genius - Karl Maka. Well, such is life ga la! I
then vacuum the floor and blah blah blah. Oh well, who wants to know that
anyway. Oh yea I also watched Home Alone 2 last night, well I haven't written
the review yet, but it will probably be coming soon, hopefully by the end of
2004 :P. I was going to change the picture of the day, but on second though - I
reckon I will keep it on for another day. In HK entertainment news, Nic Tse and
Faye Wong is back 2gether and the new HK movie Twins Effect opened top in HK
Box-office and has already knock off the Hulk. Well, folks, after my math
results, I guess I will stop now and start doing some math. Ah...math...ar...>_<...
Ar Sa... :P...Ar...haha - I guess you already realize who is gonna be in the
next Pic of the Day! :P (Andrew, 29/6/03)
In
1987, the beginning of the golden era in HK cinema, every movie that came out
despite being good or bad, has this sense of confidences that would only be made
in that era. It would almost impossible to find a movie bad or good, in the
fashion of Karl Maka's Thirty Million Dollar Rush. The movie itself
is nothing special, in fact, not even up to the usual standard of a Maka's
comedy and no where near the cinematic experiences of Aces Go Places Series,
however as silly as it may be, watching the movie gives you...more...
