Daily Gossips from Webmaster:

Well folks how do you people like the new layout, easy to load and fast to load, haha, sounds cool. Neways, I also added a new pic of the day column and this week will probably be this photo of Donnie Yen's Wedding. Well, that's the last Asian Hollywood Bachelor. Well she looks hot :P Well the coming soon list would be movies that will soon be reviewed and movies that I got in my DVD, VCD collection and have either yet to review or yet to see. Well the layout is very simple for this site. Left hand side would be HK/Chinese/Asian movies and the right hand side would be the Hollywood Movies. Well, ladies and gentlemen, please excuse me as I continue to built A Better Tomorrow. (Andrew 25/6/03)

No Gene For The Human Spirit: Gattaca

I remember my English teacher telling us that 'one man's utopia is another dystopia and the movie Gattaca shows and proves the saying true. Themes are strong as the story moves slowly from being at a walking pace to later become a bit of a thriller in the 1920s Film Noir style and in between here and there a few love scenes to all combine together leading to a terrific emotional ending. Gattaca was made in 1998 and was proved to be...more...

Go Go Gadgets: Tuxedo

From gadgets, cool cars, nice tuxedo, sexy hot girls, evil villains trying to take over the world, the new action blockbuster Tuxedo, starring International Martial Arts Superstar Jackie Chan has all the flair of a formulaic James Bond Movie. So does it work? Well what can go wrong with a mix of comedy, Jackie Chan style action and a little bit of romance, sounds good? But the bad news for Chan's fans who are...more...

Love, ghosts, action classic: A Chinese Ghost Story

One of the most famous HK movie franchise known to the Western world alongside the epic Once Upon A Time in China Series comes a film that is made 4 years before that. A Chinese Ghost Story is a movie about romance, action, comedy, suspense, ghost story all mixed together in one big hot pot... :P With groundbreaking special effects for its time - 1987, it was also the year...more...

Thriller with too many twists : BASIC

What started off to be a tense, gripping thriller, Basic becomes is exactly the opposite of the title with too much plot twists and with an ending that almost totally rots the movie to the bottom of the sink. With John Travolta in a good role, is extremely unbelievable as both his facial expressions and looks all combine to a feeling of cunning and villainous. Ever since the terrific/classical Face/Off, Travolta's career is...more...

Matrix in Shakespearean's Style : Othello (1995)

1995's Othello, is one of the best film adaptation of Shakespeare's plays. The story of love, jealousy, betrayal, treachery and lust are all elements of Othello and a theme that is forever successful to whatever generation. Starring, Matrix star - Laurence Fishburne puts in a performance and screen presence better even than his role in the Matrix. Fishburne is able to portray...more...
