The core of the russian terrorist strike force which took over the tanker transporting Metal Gear Ray. Regular russian sentries which snake encounters roaming the ship on patrols are armed with an AKs-74u, using a suppressor, flashlight, and laser-sight. If this sentry spots snake, a dead body, or any kind of visual of snake, he will radio in to a "Command Post" which would send in a "attack team" upgraded with body armor, kevlar helmet, and sometimes a ballistic shield. These teams will hunt you down and give snake quite a chase until hes dead or they lose site of him.
If you plan on going up against them, i insist that you stay away from the M9, and use the USP/SOCOM, preferrably a rifle. When dealing with the ballistic shield soldiers, aim for the legs or shoot the shield enough the break it.
