Hal Emmerick aka "Otacon"

Formerly the leader of the Metal Gear REX development project, he met up with Solid Snake during Shadow Moses, they joined forces and stopped FOXHOUND and the next gen spec ops from launching the nuclear missiles and put an end to the terrorists siege.

He and Snake now run an anti-metal gear organization, set on halting all further Metal Gear productions and ridding the whole of every last Metal Gear.

Otacon aids Snake throughout the tanker chapter and saves data. He also makes a special appearance along with Solid during the Plant episode while looking for his lost sister. ( see "Emma Emmerick "EE" for bio.) He can always be trusted to run any kind Japanese culture into the mix as possible. His codename "Otacon", stands for "Otaku Convention" a large convention, displaying all sorts of anime, games and products from Japan.
