This'll be the last official post on this page, but it'll always be up for you guys to look at. It's been a fun trip, but it's time for a change. When you check it out, you'll notice a few new suprises. Hope ya like!
For the final time, Posty Jr

Are you serious?
I just got the in the mail...are they just bein b@stards to me or do they just hate me?

Limited-time extension to renew ddrcc.net

Special Extension Dear Dustin,

Recently, Namezero sent you an expiration notice for your Namezero domain (ddrcc.net). You risk losing your domain and email to someone else!

Renew Now For Only
$19.95

We've tightened our credit card security procedures recently and that may have made it difficult for you to renew online. Many members who received the same notice requested an extension to the expiration date to allow time to mail in a check or money order. As a courtesy we are extending the disconnection date of your domain to Monday, March 11, 2002. Your payment must be received by that time!

Try to upgrade online first. For most people, this is still the easiest way. If, after a few tries, you can not complete the transaction, you can mail in a check or money order (see instructions below).

To continue using your existing domain name without any interruption, you can still renew your Namezero Service at a special members-only price of $19.95 (a discount of over 40% from our list price of $34.95). We also have special member-exclusive 2-year and 5-year upgrade offers available. When you renew, you will automatically be upgraded to our Plus service.

If you don't renew now, your domain name could be lost forever. The only sure way to secure your domain name is to renew your service with Namezero before midnight Pacific Time on March 11, 2002. Members paying with check or money order need to ensure that their payment is postmarked by March 7, 2002. After midnight on March 11th, your Namezero Service will expire and you will no longer be able to use the domain.

We value your membership in the Namezero community and hope you choose to renew your service.

The Namezero Team

Namezero, If you're watching, I want you to know, I hate you. You're cruel and inhumane. Just let me have my damn web address!!!

Well, what the heck happened? We're well past, and we're still alive! Heh, whatever, we're lucky! We're still cookin. I guess since we're past that crisis, it's time to get back to work. Look for the movies to return sometime next week. And the profiles page should be updated fairly soon too. Plus be expecting a new page design. Later!

Yo...Posty here. Bad News. Check this out.

Dear Dustin,

Your free Namezero domain and email service is set to expire at midnight, February 28, 2002. Don't risk losing ddrcc.net forever. Renew now for just $19.95!

You have only one day to renew your domain, ddrcc.net. Once your domain expires, you will not be able to use ddrcc.net or email and your online identity could be gone forever.

When you renew, we will automatically upgrade your domain to our Plus service. That includes the real 10 MB email account that you don't get from your ISP or the free mail providers. You can renew ddrcc.net now and continue your domain service and email for just $19.95 for a full year. That is more than 40% off of our $34.95 standard price.

We also offer discounted 2-year or 5-year renewals. Namezero domain services still cost less than services like Register.com or Excite.com where a service comparable to Namezero's costs over $50 per year!

Renew your Namezero service now to ensure that no one else gets your domain. Time is short. This limited renewal offer expires tomorrow. Act now before it's gone.

Thank you for your continued support.

The Namezero Team

IE, we're still gonna lose the address. They just pushed it abit further; those jerks. Anybody got a credit card?! ^^;;; I'm already payin angelfire; I cant afford two services...

Well, howdy. It's been a while. Honestly, I was acually waiting around to see if namezero was gonna toast my domain, but I guess I'm still alive and kickin, so it's time to start workin again. I got good news. It's time to introduce THREE, not one, not two, but THREE new staff members. Zack, our "add guy" (yes, that's his official job title). He's the guy who we're lookin to for making ads, advertising the site, generally just bein the promotional guy. Plus, he said he's always wanted to do that. So he's the add guy. Pablo, he's the Profile Man. He's gonna be the guy who updates profiles, and all that kinda junk. Too much for me to do alone. Lastly, and definately not leastly, we get to Jerry. He's gonna just help us with designing and stuff on the site. Basicly, makin it pleasing to the eye. So, be sure to welcome them as you welcomed me when I first opened this little site. Wish them luck!

Hey people, sorry about no updates the last few days. It's just, I'm concentrating on other things; like the fact that if I dont come up with money fast, I'll lose my address in less than 3 days. If I lose that, I might as well just close up shop...Please, help...

Well, I guess now's a good time to let ya'll know. As everybody knows, Imna be losing the address www.ddrcc.net on Saturday. I can honestly tell you that advertising my website to get as popular as it currently is was a masive b!tch. Not something I want to go through again. Not to mention, I'd have to rename and remake lots of banners and crap. I guess what I'm gettin at here is, once Saturday comes around, I think this'll be the end for ol' DDRCC. We've played and played, but we're out of energy, we're out of tokens, and we're out of continues. Basicly, once Saturday comes around, unless some miracle saves us and we end up with credit card in hand and address in pocket, it's game over for DDRCC.Net. It was a big hastle for me to take it even this far, and I really love my page, but I honestly dont wanna start from almost scratch again. Please forgive me, everybody, who visits this page at least once a week. But now we're just another site taken down by the hands of economy. We're a failed website! Just like many other websites! If ya want any other info, or maybe possibly have a credit card to sport for us (but dont be expecting money back soon, if even, at all) cuz I'm a broke SOB. But if somebody were to sport us a card, they'd get full props plus I'd even make 'em a full partner in the site. Until Saturday, see ya.

My life....is trash...You know what sucks? I finally fixed the videos. I found all the problems, fixed all the problems, and hit the save button. Then I read "save complete" and party down. I go to view the page and it's all gone. Everything. Completely vanished. I go check my editing toolz, and all my code has vanished. 1000+ lines of code down the hole. Gone forever. So, while the vids finally work, the page is out. And the date for the cash is fast approaching. This doesn't look good for ol' Posty...

GREAT NEWS! Guess what, the movies are working again! Now if I can get into my account *heh....forgot the password...oops?* I can upload the video that Freddie gave me! Also, the lock in's tonight. Let's go play DDR! And they fixed the platform, but now you have to stomp harder to register on it. >.< But, at least it's ok. See ya tonight!
-Posty Jr
*hours later*
Okay...turns out, the vids aren't fixed. I can't get into my directory to upload more movies, and it says all the movies are gone. If so, it'll be a b!itch to upload them all again. See ya.
-Posty Jr

2/13/02
Good news, bad news. Good news: I found out the price of the lock in. $12 gets you in, you know the rest. Bad news: the date of losing my address is fast approaching and I'm still zilch. What do we do?!
-Posty Jr

2/12/02
Bad news. Yall had been complaining aabout the videos. I checked the problem; turns out, somethin's wrong with the account we have the videos saved in. I can't contact the owner of it tonight (Thanks David) but I'll contact him tomorrow to find out what's the deal. Don't worry, it should be solved soon. And, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle comes out tomorrow for Gamecube, so don't expect an update. Hehehe. Or a really short one about the videos.

It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, I'm still ploting and scheming to save the site, and I'm still flat broke. No biggie, let's move on. It's time to discuss something new. This friday there's a lock in @ PPP. What's that mean for you? DDR all night. I'm assuming it'll be 10-15 bux to get in, the games are all on free play, and pizza all night. I'll be there. Will you?
-Posty Jr
Oh...one other thing. Moved all last month's news to the proper news pages, cleaning the index up abit. See ya.

2/5/02
Um...I have some bad news. Really, really, crappy bad news. As of February 28, 2002, the people who let me use ddrcc.net aren't gonna give their service away anymore (cuz of the current market conditions, or some BS right now). Meanin, if you're used to ddrcc.net, you better do one of two things. Get used to typing in https://www.angelfire.com/~ddrcc/...it's just a real big hastle. It's 5 bucks a month plus a 10 dollar sign up fee to go with Angelfire as our server and domain name...I can't very well accept money from the website because I don't have a credit card (Damn you Paypal!) so I'll be holding "fund raisers" hahaha...meaning I'll be out @ PPP begging for cash. Or somethin similar, I'm not sure...somebody help me with an idea here!
Posty Jr

2/2/02
Hey. I'm alive. I have good news, bad news, and better news. Good news: I'm over the flu...most of it, anyways. Bad news: that means I'm back at school. Better news: since I didn't update like a week for yall, I got a special somethin new. I waited at the mall for 3 hours today just to get you this -- the video of the the ShoDown tournament from December 1st, in Austin! Now, let me warn you...I just sat through the whole thing and it's kinda...strange. But anyways, I'll be encoding this after I can get ahold of a VCR, so be lookin for it soon. Thanks for your continued support.
