Secret Stuff in Final Fantasy 7

Chocobuckle enemy skill

Chocobuckle: 1 enemy takes type-less damage equal to the number of times they has escaped from battle. You learn this from a level 16 chocobo. This is a tough one. You have to have 3 Mimett greens and get into a battle with a level 16 chocobo. The best place to do this is near the chocobo farm. You have to make sure you have learned the Level 4 Suicide enemy skill first! Learn the Level 4 Suicide. Go to my Enemy skills page. You can tell if you have a level 16 chocobo by the other creatures in the battle. If the chocobo is with two blue elephant-like things or two ostrich-like things you have a level 16 chocobo, if there are any other creatures or combinations of creatures then it's a level 13. When you get into a battle with a level 16 chocobo you have to avoid doing two things--1. Don't hit the chocobo, 2. don't kill the other creatures with the chocobo because it will end the battle and you don't want that. As soon as you get into a battle with the level 16 chocobo go to your item pack and feed it one of the mimett greens (it's a good idea to put the mimett greens at the top of your item pack so that you don't waste time searching for them). After each character has fed the chocobo a mimett green then have the person who knows Level 4 Suicide use it on the chocobo this will tick him off and cause him to use the chocobuckle on the caster now you have the chocobuckle skill. Sometimes the chocobo stays around after this, sometimes he doesn't, but it doesn't matter if all you're after is learning the limit skill.

How to get Vincent: You get Vincent by opening the safe, you can see my limit breaks page, to get the combination of the safe in the Shinra Mansion 2nd floor in Nibelheim. You must defeat Lost Number to get the Key item "Basement Key" go down to the basement and look for a door off to the side. Stand in front of the middle coffin and talk to it as you would talk to a regular person. Talk about Sephiroth and then when Vincent goes back in, talk to him again. Leave the room and go to a different screen. Vincent shall join you as you are leaving. Vincent's a really neat character to have.

Limit Level Up: Use a Hyper when you're not sad, and you will get furious. Being furious will make your limit break gauge fill up faster. Getting your limit alot helps to level it up.

Mideel:

The White Chocobo in Mideel: If you feed this chocobo Mimett Greens, you will have to tickle it. If you tickle it in the right area, it will give you a cool materia. I tickled it in these areas, and these were the responses I got. Feet: Likes Stomach: Ticklish Neck: Angry Belly Button: Shy Ears: The MATERIA!

Curse Ring

While in Mideel (before it has been destroyed), go to the weapons shop and check the door in the back (the one that does not open.) Next, go to the shop on the hill with the man on the balcony. Walk behind him along the part of the balcony on the side of the shop until you here a rattling sound. Check the spot and you will get a key. Use the key on the door, and it will break off. The owner will ask what happened. Tell the truth and he will give you the curse ring. If you lie, he will not give it to you. It raises all of your stats, but puts the character on death sentance, but this can be countered with a Phoenix Down. sent in by:Robby

Gold Saucer:

Well, you can get quite a few good stuff here. First of all, there's the Man that gives you GP if you give him Gil. 1 GP is 100 Gil. You can buy a maximum of 100 GP at a time from him. He is near the save point, he appears randomly.

Secondly, there's the Lady that trades prizes for GP. I have gotten the 2000 GP ???? thing, it is an EXP Plus Materia. The 500 GP ???? thing is a Carob Nut. The 1000 GP ???? thing is a Gil Plus Materia. She is found in Wonder Square.

Third, there's chocobo racing! While racing the chocobos, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 to increase your speed. To increase their stamina, hold R1 + R2. sent in by:Robby

And Last but not Least, if you can win enough times, in the S-Rank at Chocobo Square, you can easily do that with a gold chocobo, go to my Gold Chocobo page, that lady that is your manager will give you good things like a Precious Watch, Cat's Bell, Chocobraclet, and a Counter Materia.

Wutai: If you go to the Mountain DaChao I think with the Key Item Leviathan Scales you can go into the cave on the mountain that has fire in it. You can get a Steal as Well Materia (Steals simultaneously when paired materia is used.) and an Oritsuru for Yuffie. The weapon's attack is 90 and the Attack % is 115. I think. If you are visiting Wutai for the first time, see my Yuffie's Subquest page for info on how to get your materia back.

How to get Yuffie: The first time you can get her is after you go through the Mythril Mines. Head towards the forest and fight. Eventually Yuffie will appear. Defeat her and do not go to the save point. (she'll steal your money and you'll have to look for her again.) So instead, here's how your conversation should go:

Yuffie: "You spiky headed jerk! One more time, let's go one more time!"

Cloud: "Not Interested"

Yuffie: "Your pretty scared of me, huh?"

Cloud: "......petrified"

She'll start to walk away but turn back

Yuffie: "I'm really gonna leave! REALLY!"

Cloud: "Wait a second!"

Yuffie: "You want me to go with you?"

Cloud: "That's right.

Yuffie: "All right! I'll go with you!"

Cloud: "Let's hurry on."

Then you'll have Yuffie!

Cosmo Canyon:

In the General Store in Cosmo Canyon (The shop up the ladder) has a section that was blocked the first time you visited. The next time you come back the rope will be gone and you'll be able to enter the other part of the store where you can pick up an Elixir, Magic Source, and a Full Cure Materia. (Full Cure will not work with an All materia pair)

Costa Del Sol:

In Costa Del Sol there will be a real estate Agent inside the Late President Shinra's vacation home. It's a pretty hefty 300,000 Gil to buy. There's not much use for it except it's a free place to get a rest and there are some free items Cloud and grab in the basement. hehe...I bought it.

Turtle's Paradise Flyers

Turtle's Paradise in Wutai has been having a Special Contest. They've posted 6 advertisement flyers all around the World and have offered a prize to anybody who's read all of them.

Flyer #1: With the Key back into Midgar head back to Sector 5. Go inside the house on the East Side of Town and upstairs you'll find the flyer tacked to the wall of the boy's room.

Flyer #2: You have only 2 chances to to get this flyer which is in the Shinra Head Quarters. When you go to rescue Aeris and when you Return to fight Hojo in the 2nd CD. The Flyer is on the Bulletin Board in the Back of the lobby's first level.

Flyer #3: Go to the Ghost Hotel inside of the Gold Saucer. The Flyer is in the lobby next to the entrance to the Item shop.

Flyer #4: In Cosmo Canyon take the path you usually use to go up to Bugenhagen's observatory. In the Shop with the Save Point the Flyer is attached to the Tiger Lily Arms next to the shop.

Flyer #5: In Cosmo Canyon go to the Inn and it will be on the wall next to the innkeeper's desk.

Flyer #6: This one is In Yuffie's house in Wutai. It's the Banner on the wall outside the room with the trap cage.

With all of the Flyer's found go to the Turtle's Paradise and you'll win the prize of a Power Source, Guard Source, Magic Source, Mind Source, Speed Source, Luck Source, and a Megalixir.

Lucky 7:

Any Time one of you Fighter's HP hit's 7777 after a battle you'll get the all Lucky 7 effect. The Fighter starts attacking non stop hitting each enemy with 7777 HP points. After any battle with the Lucky 7 effect that fighter's HP will be reduced to 1 so you can only use Lucky 7 for one battle. You can also use Materia Tricks to manipulate your HP to hit 7777, but it's pretty tricky This one's pretty cool. I had this trick with Cait Sith.

um to get lucky 7 get 0 hp and 999 mp now swich hp and mp with hp-mp swich now use 8 of ethers to get 800 now go in battle, use magic, and get 777 mp. now swich the hp and mp again use potions to get 7,777 hp enter battle and see what happens!!! sent in by:Robby There are two ways to get the Master Materia's. One is giving the Kalm Traveler the three items he request and the other is to Master all of the Materia you have. This might take a while but the quickest way to Master all of your Materia is to go into the Northern Crater and Take the left path and then take the Upper Path. You'll come into a swampy area. Equip Your fighters with Weapons and Armor that will Double or even Triple Materia Growth. There are enemy's like Magic Pots and Lava Balls in this area which give you mega Materia points. With your Materia Mastered go to Bugenhagen's observatory and touch the Huge Materia's. They will merge all of your Mastered Materia of one type into a Master Materia. I have all the Master materias! But the yellow one (master command) I actually mastered all my materia.

Midgar:

See Aeris after she's dead!: Go to the church where you first met Aeris. She will be a spirit that tends the flowers, but don't get too close, or else she'll disappear!

Cast Any Spell Three Times:

To cast three magic spells in one round, first equip someone with a Magic Materia + "All" Support Materia. You'll also need Barrier Materia with the Reflect spell learned. When you enter battle, cast Reflect on the entire party, (your party). Then cast the magic spell that was connected to the "All" Materia on YOUR party. Even though you casted the spell once, it will be reflected and returned to the enemy hitting for three times! And for the same price of the usual MP's. What's even better is that if you have W-Magic, you can cast that spell twice, or two different spells (both need to be connected to "All" Materia) hitting for six times!!! sent in by: Robby
