Sweet Peas
By Angel Craving Wings

One of my favorite flowers is the Sweet Pea.......They make a wonderful addition to cut flowers in doors & smell so good. I love the mixed seeds that way you can have all colors growing on a vine or trellis .......When we lived in the North of Canada I planted them at the side of my house where the sun was the brightest.....they were so beautiful & innocence is the meaning that has been given to the delightful Sweet pea - the birth flower for the lovely month of April! Our Spring & summer gardens just wouldn't be complete without a glorious, multi colored display of these enchanting fragrant flowers! These seeds should be sown in early Autumn.

In the northern hemisphere, Sweet peas are at their best in Summer, and gardeners there have traditionally planted the seeds on March 17th, which is St Patrick's Day. It's said that the blooms of Sweet peas planted on this day will be bigger and more fragrant than those planted later before or after! Sweet Peas love to be cut and groomed for increased flower production. 6’ to 8’. hugs Carol - acw

Holloy Hocks
By Angel Elizabeth

Late summer if you are useing seeds, you put 6 or 7 in the same hole, but if you get the plant from a nursery, then it's spring, after the fear of frost is gone.
