I question why can one
in another so completely
confide what is deep inside?

Where does the spirit
call to me that it is true
in a life for my children
which has been to rough
while for others the waters
barely cause a ripple;
yet to me it is hard and cruel?

You then come unto me
and take my hand
to walk me into the light
and the Saviors presence
requesting only a blessing;
so I'll be re-assured
this is all apart of the plan
which we voted on
thus must now accept
with a silence;
where the tears of the lonely
come within the walls
to cover my ears
and shed my tears
for all my years
such tenderness
in a moment like this
I've only seldom known.
