it slips and I watch you fall
as in the end you waited
too long and wanted no help.

Thus I shed tears of anquish
that you could turn so much
to want nothing to do with
the human fraility called self.

Forever ago you promised
you would always come to me
if ever things got too rough
or too difficult to handle on earth.

Now the slipping of your hand
from mine is but a symbol
of how much you have forgotten
and how little I can do.

Did Satan offer you so much
as to turn your back to friends;
or was your self worth so small
he offered nothing and you went?

I shed these tears some for you
but for the other because of you
will not also fall not by mistake
but by fatal design to escape.

Verse 7

I shed these tears which are of love
because you have chosen to believe
the lies and illusions of the those
who only desire your unhappiness.

Verse 8

I shed these tears because of the price
others will now have to pay because
of your selfishness in a mortal setting
to seek the darkness of denial within.
