"Teardrops From My Heart"

C.J. Ingerson
1/14/99

Verse 1
********

How do you use words to describe
a teardrop that hurts so much
and yet comes from my heart
to the heart of yet another?

Verse 2
********

This teardrop doesn't appear
to be taken notice of for it is
hidden deep within the wells
we call feelings and emotion.

Verse 3
********

Yet it burns with the wisdom
of time and memories gone
and then come back again
for feelings are memories.

Verse 4
********

For emotions are always so
close to the surface of love
and drawn deep into the heart
where thence comes a teardrop.

Verse 5
*******

Now as these teardrops fall
from my heart for another
let it be known that it is pure
and only the love of a brother.

"Teardrops From My Heart II"

C.J. Ingerson
1/14/99

Verse 1
*******

How do you use words to describe
a teardrop that hurts so much
and yet comes from deep inside
to the heart of yet another such?

Verse 2
********

This teardrop doesn't appear
on the surface as it is a lotion
hidden deep within not near
called feelings and emotion.

Verse 3
********

Yet it burns with the wisdom
of time and memories gone
to return to Father's kingdom
as the feelings are words of song.

Verse 4
********

For emotions are always so
close to the surface of love
and drawn deep into the soul
thence comes a tear from above.

Verse 5
*******

Now as these teardrops fall
from my heart for yet another
let it be known it is pure to all
and only the love of a brother.
