Tears of joy are good,
also of sadness sometimes,
tears of laughter
of ones self are helpful,
but not at another's expense.

Tears wash the spirit
and touch the heart
having the understanding
another often needs to see
and to know we love them.

Tears are little crystals
which fall upon the cheeks
while others never cry
those who do find solace
in a life so full of none.

Tears also come from
being deeply hurt
almost to not recover
to once again be a person
yet the tears help us see.

Tears of life lift a burden
from us now to be
a person we can learn
to like then love
to also care about.

Verse 6

Tears are from the spirit
set free or wounded
to allow us the world
to see and a person to be
not at another's expense.
