"INSPIRATION"
Psalm 9:1-2
Music is such a happy way to praise thy holy name. The blessings that can flow from it are all for us to claim. So often as I lift my voice, in joyous song to thee. I envision your glorious smile shining down upon me. Oh sweet Jesus, my love for you, grows stronger with each day. My pen cannot write fast enough the words I have to say! But no words I write can describe, your loveliness and grace. So I'll sing praises to your name, your warm smile on my face.
It is good to praise the Lord
and make music to Your name
O most high.
Ps.92:1
There is a patch of sunshine which I have tucked away; When days were bright and sunny, I gathered sunshine rays. I knew that there'd be rainy days that would dark, and so each ray of sunshine, I tucked within my heart. Now when the dark clouds hover and gloom appears to reign, I reach inbto Heart's Sunshine Patch and every bright ray claim.
The day is thine, the night also is thine
Thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
Ps.74:16
Reach down, oh Lord, and take my hand, So I may walk where you have planned. Reach down, oh Lord, and dry my tears, that fall like raindrops through the years. Reach down, oh Lord, and fill my heart, with love that never will depart. Reach down, oh Lord and free my soul, once bound by sin to sorrow's role. Reach down, oh Lord, and lift my voice, too long constrained. "Praise Him. Rejoice!" |
Except a man be born again of water and the spirit,
he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
John 3:5
God is my guiding light wherever I may be. He takes me out of darkness and shows a way for me. I may be filled with questions, my mind says I don't know. The wee small voice speaks softly, I'll show you the way to go." So when your doubt surrounds you and you cannot see. Know the choice isn't yours alone, for God guides your destiny.
"Lord, I put my hope in you;
I have trusted in you since
I was young."
Ps.71:5
I'll paint you a rainbow to hang on the wall, to brighten your heart when the grey shadows fall. On canvas of joy outlasting the years, with a soft brush of sweetness to dry all your tears. I'll paint you a rainbow with colors of smiles, that glow with sincerity over the miles, on palette of words I will tenderly blend, tones into treasures of sunlight and wind. I'll paint you a rainbow that reaches so wide, your sighs and your sorrows will vanish inside, and deep in the center of each different hue, a memory fashioned especially for you. So lift up your eyes, for suspened above, a rainbow designed by fingers of love.
Fill us at daybreak
with your love
that all our days we
may sing for joy.
Ps 90:14
There is no special time for prayer, One can pray most anywhere, When things aren't going quite your way- pause a moment, just pray... If everything seems to bother you and nag at you the whole day through, to dispel those awful clouds of gray- pause a moment, just to pray... If there is no hope in sight, you se the tunnel but not the light, do not wander, do not stray-pause a moment, just to pray... When all your efforts seem in vain, you struggle hard but see no gain, do one thing without delay, pause a moment, just to pray... When you feel there is no hope, when with life you cannot cope, God will help along the way- pause a moment, just to pray...
I sought the Lord,
and he heard me,
and delivered me
