| Prana Yoga Classes held on Mondays, July
12 - August 2
10 - 11am and Thursdays, July 15 - August 5 6 - 7pm |
Feeling stressed? Come and unwind in a Prana Yoga class. You will be
gently and safely guided into yoga postures that will energize your body and create a more
focused and calm frame of mind. When we move into postures and incorporate our breath and
healing images, we gain the opportunity to experience the flow of prana (energy) in the
areas of the body/mind/spirit that a posture opens up. Additionally, through this
practice, we build strength, flexibility, confidence, coordination, balance, poise, and
compassion for ourselves and others. Together, we breathe and honor our unique bodies and
united spirits. This class is perfect for the beginner or anyone interested in deepening
their existing yoga practice. |

Kids
Yoga (ages 5 - 10)Classes held on
Mondays, July 12 - August 2
9 - 9:45am |
These days, our children's lives are jam packed with busy schedules,
school pressures, competitive games and activities, too much TV and addictive video games.
Additionally, as parents, we are always trying to play "catch-up" which usually
results in "hurry-up". Yoga is an excellent way to counter the pressures of
living in our busy world, for children as well as adults! Yoga encourages self-esteem and
body awareness through a noncompetitive and fun approach. Benefits are derived on many
levels. It enhances flexibility, strength, coordination as well as concentration,
creativity and the ability to attain a state of calmness. Most importantly, children are
encouraged to find and rely on their inner wisdom as they negotiate their way through a
sometimes-challenging world. What better gift is there to give your child, but a strong
sense and respect for who they are? Children can learn to honor themselves and others . .
. and when that happens, everyone comes out a winner! |
