Crafts Exhibit from July 1-31
Reception to be held Sunday, July 12 from 1-4pm

The Watchung Arts center craft exhibit this month is featuring the candles of Fireflies & Glowworms. This is a business formed by Judith Christensen and Eileen Palevsky who created unique artist candles. Judy started out making candles as favors for her daughter’s wedding and the response was positive. She then turned to her friend Eileen, an art teacher from Marlboro. Their hand rolled beeswax candles are beautifully crafted and have been sold at local shows and galleries.

Crystal P. Even is a floral artist who creates exquisite lifelike floral arrangements with silk and dried flowers. Crystal has been perfecting her arrangements and presentations. From Marlton she brings a variety of display pieces that will please the eye.

Our sculpture display comes from Ken Drake who incorporates fossil elements and figures into vertical stone slabs. These works are unusual and exceptionally well done.
