On Saturday, April 10 at 8pm, the Watchung Arts Center is thrilled to present the wonderful sounds of the Daisy Jug Band. Formed in 1971, the DAISY JUG BAND has been performing for over a quarter century. Most of their work is in eastern Pennsylvania and the Poconos, but they have played other areas of the state as well as New Jersey, Maryland, and as far as Cincinnati. Though their name suggests a certain style, they are well known for our diversity of music and showmanship. Their audience participation songs encourage many to be a part of the act. Unlike most bands, they will visually delight you with a mastery of kazoo, scrub-board, wash-tub, and garden hose. Add to all of this a wonderful blend of harmonies and unique instrumentation and you've got dynamic entertainment for any occasion!

Plan on making reservations for April 10. Don't pay a baby sitter, just bring the kids along and enjoy this family concert together. There will be plenty of audience participation for all. This concert provides the perfect opportunity to introduce children to the power of music in a fun and informative way.
