David is a member of the Songwriters Guild of America and the Folk Project of New Jersey, and is a recipient of a top award in the Music City Song Writing Contest for his vocals on his original song "Shadows on the Wind." His song the "American Way" has provided David with recognition from the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Association, having been performed at the dedication ceremony to their monument in Holmdel. That song also has David nominated for the Trailblazer Award in the 5th Annual King Eagle Show/Festival in Nashville. David is a contributor to "The Special Collection of Somerset and Hunterdon County Authors, Artists and Composers" at the Raritan Valley Community College in Somerville. He holds two MA degrees from Rider University, one in Counseling and the other in Educational Administration. He received his BA from Farleigh Dickinson University. He performed as a request from the city, at the Philadelphia Bicentennial Commission. David has appeared as the opening act for comedian David Brenner, and Folk Legends, Pete Seeger, Tom Paxton and Bill Staines.
