Mask Making Workshop for Children at the Watchung Arts Center

The Watchung Arts Center this spring will be offering a new art Workshop for children in 2nd grade and up. The workshop is made up of eight classes running on Tuesdays from 4-5pm beginning on May 4 and running through to June 22. Student will learn about mask making and the role of masks throughout history. Each student will then use a variety of materials including assorted papers, paper mache, paint, feathers, sequins, etc. to create a mask to fit their own head.

Join District Art Teacher Liz Jenkins and decorate a three dimensional mask that is uniquely you. All supplies and materials are included. The price is $100 for members and $120 for Non-members. Register early by calling (908) 753-0190. Class size is limited and students will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.
