Classes meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning July 6

Join us at the Watchung Arts Center this summer and expand your vocal talent. Our voice lessons offer a creative approach to vocal instruction which involves vocal exercises; efficient breathing, articulation/phrasing, how to build your singing range, how to develop a personal style and deal with specific individual needs. We also stress the importance of practice! If music makes you move and sing, you will certainly enjoy this interactive singing and rhythm jam session. This sensational program is for young artists of all levels, and our voice instructor has many years of experience with both children and young adults.

PRIVATE LESSONS - PIANO or VOICE

AGES: 5 years and up

PIANO: Are you ready for piano lessons? The best way to find out is to try a few private thirty minute classes and see how it goes. This class is for the beginner or anyone who has always been intimidated by the thought of learning piano. You can begin your study of piano with a patient and gifted teacher who also has a sense of humor. Students will go through the basics of reading music, hand position and rhythm. This class is an excellent wayto decide if you might like playing the piano, or to simply want to brush up on your skills.

VOICE: If you prefer learning in a private setting, three introductory lessons will be offered for beginning and advanced levels. You will explore the range, agility, and timbre of your voice and learn vocal exercises for proper tone production, breathing, and posture. No previous musical experience is necessary.
