The Watchung Arts Center this summer is offering three sessions of Drama and Acting Sessions for Children.  In addition All Children's Theater will have a two week program August 17 to 28.

The first session, Improvisation Stage, runs July 6,7,8,9,10 from 10am - noon and is geared towards the 7-10 year olds. This weeklong session will introduce children to the world of theatre through improvisation and theatre games. Students will crerate their own original scenes based on stories and literature.  Using minimal sets and costumes created by the students, a few scenes will be presented to the family members on the last session, July 10.

The last summer session, which is also an Improvisation Stage class, runs from August 3, 4,5, 6, 7 from 10:00 am to noon for ages 7-10. Participation in creative drama helps develop expression and self-confidence.
