What is Aballonas?
"Aballonas" is the Old Celtic form of the name
"Avalon". We find this named applied to a number of different places, which is no surprise in the IndoEuropean world.
The one we mean, as a place, is northeastern North America, and most specifically the region comprising northwestern New England and adjacent portions of southern Quebec. This is the geographical
definition.
Then, we have the tribal nation of
Aballonas. In order to belong to this nation, one must be formally affiliated with one of the tribes comprising it, or have some other special relationship. When we speak of laws or
customs of
Aballonas, it refers to this.
The Reawakening
Finally, we have the
Aballonas movement. This is our movement for
Reawakening and unity of all IndoEuropeans, with a special emphasis on
Celts. The movement is founded and to some extent led by some of the leaders
of
Aballonas, so we have given it this same name. One joins the movement
simply by being and acting in agreement with our general goals and ideals.
One does not have to be part of the nation of
Aballonas, nor does one have
to accept the traditional culture in the hardline manner that the nation
does. The egroup aballonas is a tool for communication among
computer-literate members of the movement, and also functions as a place for
communication to members of the movement.
Please be aware that people who are not of the
Aballonas nation have no say whatsoever in its laws ideals or affairs.
It should also be noted quite clearly that the ways of the community do not allow compromising the traditional principles
of the culture with those of the modern culture. For example, whether our
customs are "PC" or not is entirely irrelevant to us. Left-wing and
right-wing considerations are irrelevant. Truth is relevant.

"Truth is great and always prevails."
