Dear Friend,
you know I love you. But you're impossible to shop for right now. Please tell me what you want, and please don't accept any more gifts from other people.
Sincerely,
Your friend E
Some people complain about me me texting instead of ringing, but if you'd tried to talk to some of my (male) friends, you'd understand why. I still like you guys, but you're impossible to talk to. They tend to do at least eleven things at once, and therefore has absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Some might even say "Oh, what were you saying, I didn't bother to listen." So then I try to hang up, but then they're all like; "Oh, it's ok, I don't wanna hang up." Yeah right! Or like the friend who rang me today, I've learnt that he can pause for up to, like, five minutes between sentences, so you're never sure when he's done and it's your turn to talk (he's the same way in person too), and he doesn't like to be rushed...but today's worse than ever. He was doing a bunch of computer-stuff while talking and was completely quiet, so I tried to hang up, but he didn't even pay enough attention to hear me trying to say goodbye. Compared to that I'm not even going to complain about my friend who thinks he lives in an American sit-com and never says "bye" but just hangs up when he thinks he's done.
Went for a long walk to a store today, but didn't find what I needed anyway. Not a good day for a walk, cold, wet and icy at the same time.
...and then I forgot stuff up in the apartment when doing the laundry in the basement, and therefore got a lot of healthy exercise...
...even though my friends claimed I was difficult to understand in my texts...
Slept really heavily. Exhausted. And then I got a text from my driver (yesterday's) about me forgetting my stuff in her car. Surprised? No, we're not! ...but at least I'll have half of my stuff left in case of fire...
