This is the most useless worthless day in a long time. Even though it did suck a little less during the time I spent with my friends...and the kitten. Came home and tortured myself by watching an episode of something that apparently was called Stargate SG-1, or its longer title: "Probably the most useless show. Ever. " I didn't understand anything...not that I really cared, but still... I can't do anything with my friends because that usually requires money, I can't do anything on my own because that requires money. Nothing worth watching on tv, no good books left, not even any phone credit so I bloody can't even talk to anyone.

I got a text (or several actually) from a friend who asked me if I wanted to go on a walk with her, so I did. She started off by warning me that I'd feel like s**t, which was very encouraging. The walk was basically one hour of walking uphill, and then even more uphill (ski slope). But we made it. Looked at the wind thingy (which is why we went up there in the first place) for about a minute, talked on the phone (demanded coffee) and went down again.

Too old?

I usually wonder if it's just me, if I'm too old, or if it's actually the show that gets worse every year. This year it's definitely not me! When I was younger the day of the VMAs was a holy day. No more. I was just trying to watch a re-run of the show...but there was no show...just a bunch of hotelrooms thrown together or something. There was no host. I think it was supposed to be Sarah Silverman who's great, but I only saw her once, and the rest of it was just a montage of Kanye West, Rihanna and kids waving to their moms. I ended up changing the channel, and watched the end of a Without a Trace-episode instead. And before you ask, no, I didn't see the Britney performance.
