Roadtrip, day one. We headed for the west coast and it went ok, even thought it's a long trip. And I barely notice the driver's ducking and closing her eyes while driving any more ;) The only thing that wasn't on our side was the weather, even though it got a bit better as the day went along. We even found a car that we liked and we almost hit it trying to figure out what brand it was. We didn't even get lost until the last part of the trip, and not even that lost. Yay us! Got there, rushed and changed our clothes and headed for the festival.

First up was Devendra Banhart, and then Peter Bjorn and John, which were rumoured to be joined by Kanye West, who turned out to be Säkert! After walking around for a while, we went to see Regina Spektor. After about a song or two, it began to rain, but we decided to stay and stood there in the rain. Luckily it was still warm out so it didn't matter that much. After that we watched Erykah Badu, with her BIG hair. Then Juliette & the Licks, and then there was a break before Kanye finally went on stage. Then back "home" to bed. (Thanks for the pics T!)

It feels kinda strange that the summer and the holidays are almost over. I thought that this summer wouldn't go by that fast. It kinda feels like you've taken one step forward and two steps back or something...but at least I got a free lunch today again :)

Got to see a dear friend, and not help her put up her paintings at the coffee place today. But I did have lunch, and a strawberry milkshake and played with her daughter. I'm sure that was just as helpful...or maybe not, but we did have fun...or at least I did. She's so talanted, I wish I could do it just half as good as she does it...
