It feels kinda strange that the summer and the holidays are almost over. I thought that this summer wouldn't go by that fast. It kinda feels like you've taken one step forward and two steps back or something...but at least I got a free lunch today again :)

Why does it feel like the theme for this summer or the past month at least has been BBQ at my friends house, drinking things called 'gay' and driving around before givinmg up and going home?

Got to see a dear friend, and not help her put up her paintings at the coffee place today. But I did have lunch, and a strawberry milkshake and played with her daughter. I'm sure that was just as helpful...or maybe not, but we did have fun...or at least I did. She's so talanted, I wish I could do it just half as good as she does it...

I decided to make mum happy and go with her for a drink and some food, but we didn't expect to get the food pretty much raw. It tasted a bit like raw french fries, but we did get some free drinks out of it at least...

Woke up after a couple of hours sleep, and noticed that I was very popular. A hand in my face, one very warm cat on my legs and another one inch from legs. Had some breakfast, and talked to my friends online and had a shower. Now it's four hours later and he's still sleeping. I wish I had that capability sometimes, but now it's really time for him to wake up so we can go and get some lunch before my bus leaves. So much for me saving my money huh?

Woke up in a great mood. Not gonna tell you why because then you'll just make fun of me. Again. You...meanies! It lasted all through out the day, which never happens in my world. Looked at some clothes that my mother bought (again) without even uttering a mean comment. Went to the store with a smile on my face. Got on the bus, didn't even care that we almost missed the train. Sat out in the sun for an hour and a half, waiting for my friend to finish work. Smiling. Got the American-sized popcorn and soda, and even enjoyed the movie...and then came back to my friend's house and apparently fell asleep.

The wedding's back on again. Sorry, I just can't help it. The weather's been crap most of the day, until it was time to leave when it magically cleared and the sun actually broke through. We got there safely thanks to the nice woman in the box, and arrived just in time for the music song contest, which of course was impossible to get right. Then off to see the first show, although her songs are quite similar, I do like her persona on stage, she had this glow around her as of happiness. Back to the other stage, and some guy refering to Edith Södergran. No thanks. Not long after I finally got to see my future husband for the first time. When he smiles, you just can't help smiling back. He's definitely got that glow. Break again, we did some sightseeing when we heard some old songs we recognized and went back to see this crazy mix of Britney/Zac's baby, a Borat and Lugi & Mario doing their version of Song 2. Time for Timbuk's gayer cousin again, and then the guy from our hometown. Even though I didn't know the songs and couldn't hear the lyrics, I liked it. (Thanks for the pics T!)
