A 5 HP Tecumseh engine mounted on an old single-stage chain-driven snowblower (which is still (barely) functional). The exhaust valve had to be ground down because it was lifted off its seat upon compression, thus lowering overall pressure. With that done, the engine was tested to have 75 PSI compression--but it did burn a considerable amount of oil. The big long pipe and accessories are a simple GEET-type fuel vapourizing system, and the numbers are represented below.
1) Throttle valve linkage with cable leading off, directly in front of intake port.
2) Exhaust port with elbow leading out to reactor.
3) Auxiliary air inlet.
4) Carburetor mounting fitting.
