This was the trusty (and oh-so-high maintenance) 1986 Dodge Caravan on which the Original Hydro-Boost was installed (see next picture). The arrow points to the 'Boost's actual location just behind the grill. The van experienced an average of 18% better fuel economy; it was unfortunate that the rest of the van was in terrible shape...the transmission needed a liter of fluid each WEEK, the motor oil needed top-up every two weeks with the same amount, floor was rusted through, broken spring left front, rusted-out tailgate and sliding door, unfinished interior (it was a cargo van), noisy ENGINE, and over 210 000 km on it! I wonder why pops kept it so long...
