Assembled view of the Original Hydro-Boost. Just a plain ABS pipe, end cap, and cleanout. Steel threaded electrodes installed in top through plastic. Typically, the unit drew 15 A, produced very little gas and a lot of heat, and also vapourized some water and acid, thus probably causing destruction to the engine. There was never a flashback problem though, even without an arrestor in place.
