A: Nickel electrodes used (partially) in H2SO4 experiment seen previous.

B: Burnt-out adapter used in the H2SO4 experiment.  Somehow (not surprisingly) the current went way over its limit.

C: Sample of sulphuric acid, coloured red for ID.  The colour turned clear after two minutes of operation.

D: Carbon black electrodes tested in H2SO4, where the anode disintegrated into powdered carbon, or a form of hydrocarbon thereof.  Cathode collected some sort of brown film.

E: Copper wire electrodes tested in same solution as carbon.  As expected, the anode turned into copper sulphate.

F: Assorted electrode metals that were later used for more tests in different solutions, including Ammonium nitrate.  What a disaster that was!
