Peter Kurten did not have not have any efficient, systematic method of targeting and killing his victims. His motivation came from an insatiable sexual appetite which proved to be the driving force behind his killings. Kurten used a variety of different methods to kill his victims. His most common methods of killing were strangulation and bludgeoning. He also used a variety of weapons such as scissors, knives, and axes. Kurten usually killed prostitutes and young girls, but although Kurten recieved sexual pleasure and gratifaction from his murders, his victims were not all women. Different pleasures were dervived from each of his murders.
