This was the view that prisoners would have seen. Noticed the enclosement: they were very confined and sat on sloped seats so they couldn't fall asleep.
The Cathedral!
Here is the best view of the cathedral I think you can get. This was from the lookout tower, and it was really neat to see. Really inspires you, if you know what I mean.
