P&LE "COLLEGE" Station Sign
This is one of the station signs from "College" Pa. (one of 3 P&LE stations in Beaver Falls). Hard to believe that a small town such as Beaver Falls having 3 passenger stops at one time. I had my eye on this sign for years. I believe this one hung on the south end. Then one day it was gone. A new owner found it at an anique shop in the town and it ended up near Chicago for awhile. It came up for sale, and well, here it is. Previous owner had "restored" it by repainting it. Ouch. Still looks good though.
