This is the website where we went to in order to adopt our wolf M'ijo. It is a well done site with information on each of their wolves, updates on petitions, wolf links, a merchandise store and a very friendly customer service department. I highly recommend them. Their adoption package and membership kit is well worth the money!
Defenders of Wildlife is an organization dedicated to helping all wildlife. This is a website full of information and links to different animals. You can also adopt a wolf through them or buy a membership. Very well done site. This is also the organization through which we received our awesome Wolf Trunk.
This is a truly unique website that allows you to click on three different camera views of the retired wolves' pen. Usually, we have found at least one of them on camera three. It updates every 60 seconds and the views are just astonishing. The wolves you will see are Lakota, Lucas and MacKenzie. There is also a link where you can learn more about each wolf. This is done in cooperation with the International Wolf Center. See below for examples of the camera.

Kids Planet is an awesome website created by the same people who run Defenders of Wildlife. It is geared toward children and teachers. There are places where a teacher can download lesson plans for the class or order the Wolf Trunk. Highly recommended for teachers!
Wolf Education and Research Center
This is the website of the Sawtooth Pack that was featured in a movie and also a book called the Sawtooth Wolves by: David Attenburg.. There is also a link to the Nez Perce website where you learn about their culture and connection with the wolves. On this website is a Wolf Quiz which is great for teachers, a chance to adopt a wolf, educational information, a store and many other great resources.
This is the home of the Ely, Minnesota wolves that can be seen in the Wolf Cam at the site above. It is a wonderful website with educational resources, a store, presentation opportunities and more. This is another website that I would recommend to teachers who are trying to get more information for their class. You can also request their free e-mail newsletter.
White Mountain Apache Tribe Wolves
This is a website where you can learn about the reservation's wolves and how they are doing. It also describes the fate of their pups. The article can also be found in the National Wildlife Magazine December/January 2003 issue. It is titled "Restoring A Lost Heritage" By: Laura Tangley.
The website is a jump-off point to all sorts of issues on wolves. There are connections to other websites, resources and a mailing list you can belong to. Great place to check out for up to date issues on wolf conservation.

This is the website geared toward teachers that allows you to send paper butterflies to Mexico in a symbolic journey just like the real monarchs do. It includes instructions on how to do this and also other nature related projects. You can keep track of the number of butterflies seen, along with other observations. Well done websites with lessons to use over the Winter while you wait for your butterflies to return.
