The Millennium Items...
Long ago, when Egypt was still young,............(I'll finish this into when I listen to it again!!!)
According to the Egyptian Book of the Dead: Bel um Ful, some 3 millennia ago, a young, but capable leader ruled Egypt. However, during his reign, ambitious people are already worshipping dark powers, therefore in order to get rid of these powers, the young Pharaoh sacrificed his life and sealed the dark powers into 7 separate artifacts, or known as the Millennium Items. Now, at present time, they have been unearthed, each item calling to another, until there is a unison.
It is also said that once the 7 Millennium Items are collected, along with the 3 God Cards, the dark powers shall be released, and the Pharaoh shall find his lost memory.
Each Millennium Item can send a person's soul to the shadow realm when a person looses a Dark Game. Also each can inflict a punishment game or curse on a person.

Millennium Puzzle - Owner: Yugi Mutou Power: Contains the Soul of the Pharaoh. The Millennium Puzzle is activated when Yugi is challenged to a duel or he is threatened. The strong soul of the Pharaoh (Yami Yugi) is released to help the owner. This was the first Millennium Item used in the show.
Millennium Eye - Original Owner: Maximillion Pegasus Current Owner: Bakura Power: Ability to read people's mind. It can trap people's souls in cards. The Millennium Eye is a powerful item in a duel. It can see people's cards in their hands and read their thoughts. the Millennium Eye was the second Item Used in the show originally owned by Pegasus, it was stolen by Yami Bakura during a shadow game when he was adding to his collection.
Millennium Ring - Owner: Bakura Power: Contains the soul of a Tomb Robber. Can transfer souls into inanimate objects. Can locate the other Millennium Items. Bakura was given the Millennium Ring as a present by his father. He was taken over by the evil Tomb Robber that resides within. Bakura has lost all control to his Yami and is a puppet. The spirit is set on getting all seven Millennium Items for himself.
Millennium Rod - Owner: Marik Ishtar Power: Contains the soul of a Egyptian Priest. Has the power to control other people's minds. It can be used as a dagger. The spirit of the Rod has taken over Marik. He is angry at Yami Yugi and wants to posses the Puzzle and the three god cards. With them, a power is supposed to reside. A power which can take over the world, or destroy it.
Millennium Tauk - Original Owner: Ishizu Ishtar Later Owner: Yugi Mutou Power: Ability to see the near future and look back at the past. The power of this item is limited. When it shows the future it is not definite. People can change, thus changing the future. It can see outcomes of certain events. The Millennium Tauk stopped working for Ishizu so she gave it to Yugi. The Millennium Tauk is also called the Millennium Neclace.
Millennium Anhk - Owner: Shadi Power: Has the power to look into a persons heart and see their personality. It can change a persons personality to the way one wants. This is not a bad thing. You can make a confident person timid, or make a passive person violent to fit your needs. Shadi does not abuse the power.
Millennium Scale - Owner: Shadi Power: The scale Judges people. It allows the owner to ask one question to someone. They must answer sincerely or they will be punished. According to Egyptian beliefs. A god of the underworld (I forget which one right now.) uses a scale to judge a person and determine how they will spend the afterlife. They place a person's heart on one end, and the Feather of Truth on the other. If the heart is heavier, it is said to be full of sin.
