Episode # 145 - A Beating of New Shadow
A new rival is coming! A survey marine sees a mysterious cathedral under the sea… Meanwhile in Domino City, Rex Raptor and Weevil Underwood are discussing the power of the Egyptian God cards when a mysterious man with a strange duel disk approaches them. He challenges them to a duel, they accept and he tells them they must gamble their souls… Yugi decides it is time to get his memory back and goes to the Domino Museum alone. Secretly, Tea, Tristan and Joey follow him. Yugi stands in front of the tablet holding the three God Cards. A light shines from the Millennium Puzzle on the tablet. However, at the same time someone is performing a dark ritual and the tablet is sealed. Yugi fails to reveal the secret of the tablet and can’t recover his memory. Suddenly, Yugi and his friends hear a loud noise outside the museum. Duel Monsters from the game are wandering the city streets. They think Kaiba Corp has something to do with it but Kaiba is in America and knows nothing about it… Later that night, everyone is watching the news at Yugi’s house when Grandpa discovers that the God Cards were stolen. They rush outside to see Ra, Obelisk, and Slifer summoned in the city. Yugi wonders how someone without a Millennium Item can summon a god monster… A strange man challenges Yugi to a duel. He says his group knows the secret to the Millennium Items and calls Yugi “Pharaoh.” Yugi is surprised when he is told that in this duel he must gamble with his soul. Joey isn’t worried for him because he knows Yugi is the King of Games. His opponent uses the Oracle Curse to seal the Millennium Puzzle and gain dark power. He is able to summon Obelisk the Tormentor even though he has no Millennium Item. How can Yugi defeat a Dark God Card? Summary By YamiHikari (A much better Summary is coming soon...)
