My Online Journal~ May 2003

With my design projects, illustrations and writing projects, I will have enough to fill in my spare time.  I have capped myself though, as I do not want to overload.  I have a healthy workload right now that will prevent me from getting stuck in a rut, which also prevents depression, at least for me.

Two things keep me emotionally intact pretty much no matter what is going on in life.  Number one is exercise.  I love to exercise.  I stopped doing it to be "skinny" and started doing it to feel good, and the weight dropped!  (See Jan. 2003)  It's a great outlet and helps keep things in perspective...i.e. things people say or do don't irritate me nearly as badly.

Number two is journaling.  I encourage you to journal, even if you think you can't write, or if you don't think you do it "right"...try it.  Sometimes I don't even keep a traditional journal, I'll put an invitation to a party or something in a notebook, almost like a scrapbook.  In my opinion, the purpose of a journal is to become more self aware so that you can become the person you want to be.

It's the one place I don't have to be polite or proper.  It's MY journal!  I can leave out punctuation, use incorrect grammar...whatever.  So, try it!  Keep a journal, perhaps not an online one like this, but a journal of your own.  Do something different, something that works for YOU!

My sphere is Guardian (Person of great Love and Altruism), and my class is Champion (Self-Righteous and Confident).

I am a Hero.

You are true heroic material. You find great motivation in the things you love, and great inspiration in your sense of self-confidence, and your excellence. Once you get your mind set on a goal, you are nearly unstoppable, and given enough time, you will meet it.

What kind of Warrior are you?
