	Packsaddle is a privately owned ranch mountain site northwest of Austin Texas. It is 350 feet relief and a 1:1 glide to the very large grassy landing field. With a well constructed ramp it is one of the easiest flying sites anywhere. It is an excellent training mountain for first flights and gives more advanced pilots a good place to have fun or start a cross country flight. Cost is $240 /year through Mojo Flying Supplies-- Hill Country Hang Gliding.


	The picture at right shows me heading out over Lake LBJ on a short little XC. Packsaddle is in the background between my head and the wing. I landed at a beach party and one person thought I was from Mars. Can you say Hic-Up? It really does look like a saddle up that high.
